So, anyone that has been to Panama City Beach knows that there is no congruence between it and Princess Diana.
But that is where a bunch of college buddies and I were for the unexpected and tragic death of Princess Diana.
There we were, a pack of knucklehead college males, staying with my friends Uncle, an adult knucklehead...and this event stopped us all in our tracks.
It was reminiscent of a "where were you when you found out about 9/11", or "where were you when Kennedy/Reagan got shot", etc...
The party officially paused for the night as we were suddenly glued to the television.
Sidenote: We ran into a super hot waitress that day on the beach that worked at the restaurant where I was bartending. SUPER HOT. I thought that the stars and moon had decided this would be our love connection time.
But we just saw her that once and there were not nor were there ever fireworks. Twas a double tragedy of sorts.
