Whether it be a floor mat for outside or inside of your front door, or for a large outdoor seating area, these seagrass style, textural but neutral rugs are the perfect layer to define the space and layer whatever your creative heart desires on top.
This floor covering is made from 100% synthetic fibers, woven on a 'hard fiber' shuttle loom. Same equipment that is used for weaving natural seagrass. Flatwoven carpet of this type will have some linear and width variations. there is no pile yarn to hide the warp and weft and some variations occur. these are totally inherent in this type of construction and gives these textiles the natural look of seagrass flooring with the advantages of a synthetic fiber.
Because it is made from a solution dyed polypropylene fiber, it also has good colorfastness.
